The California Low Carbon Fuel Standard credit price is the weighted-average transfer price of one LCFS credit (one metric tonne of CO2-equivalent reductions) reported by CARB on a weekly cadence. The program began on 2011-01-01 and was strengthened by the 2018 amendments and the 2024 rulemaking. Credit price reflects compliance demand and carbon-intensity benchmark steps.
